1ch High Current LED Controller Boost LED Driver for Automotive(BoostToVin)
本リファレンスデザインは車載ヘッドランプやリアランプなどの車載ランプ向けに開発されたLEDドライバIC、BD18353EFV-Mのリファレンスデザインです。評価レポート一式、デザインリソースが含まれており、基板設計の参考になるとともに、設計に含まれる各種テストレポートも参照することができます。BD18353EFV-M/MUF-Mは1ch LEDコントローラです。ハイサイド電流検出アンプを内蔵しています。内蔵PWM生成回路により、PWM調光Dutyを自由に設定できます。PWM調光は外付けP-ch MOSFETを駆動することで実現しています。LEDの異常状態をFAULT_B端子に出力します。2系統のアナログ調光を内蔵しています。アナログ調光及びPWM調光設定用の高精度3.0V出力電源を内蔵しています。安全設計や基板サイズの小型化のニーズに応えるため、3つのトポロジー(Boost to Vin・SEPIC・Boost)のリファレンスデザインがあります。また、MOSFETやDIODEなど周辺部品の許容発熱範囲の中で、パフォーマンスを最大化できるLED仕様を3パターン(白色4灯・8灯・12灯)で提供しています。

Remarks:
*1 This indicates the voltage near the VCC pin. Be careful of voltage drop by the impedance of power line.
*2 Since this evaluation board has a Boost to Vin-configuration, Output voltage is determined by the Vf value of the connected LED and the numbers of series plus Vin voltage. Also, output voltage should be lower than OVP voltage.
*3 The default frequency is set to 413kHz so that it is higher than the EMC standard (LW: 150kHz to 300kHz) even if variations and SSFM functions are considered.
